Мyoung and beautiful girl Lyuba Kulik (Anna Koshmal) is a student of the medical university. She is secretly in love with her teacher, Arseny, and in order to be closer to him, she decides to do an internship at a nursing home, where he worked. But fate is playing a cruel joke with her. Luba's mud is the housekeeper Nadezhda. She is seriously injured at work.
The girl does not leave her mother in trouble. Therefore, Lyuba goes to the mansion of a rich businessman Dmitry Sviridov. The girl does not yet know that this house is full of secrets and intrigues, and that he will soon drag the student into the whirlpool of his drama. In the house there are always quarrels between brothers Dimka and Igor.
Sviridov's wife Irina always reproaches her husband for unequal love between sons. The husband pays more attention to his son from his first marriage. Even the housekeeper Nadezhda is involved in the problems of the Sviridov family, namely in a secret relationship with the owner of the house. Later it is learned that Nadezhda is trying to help the boss, because he is suffering from an incurable disease.
Lyuba is sincerely trying to help the family, and without noticing it, she finds herself in the epicenter of events. Her friendliness and responsiveness become a signal of "green light" for Dimka. A spoiled major rapes a girl. Lyuba finds out that she is pregnant. The relationship with Arseny comes to an end. What else awaits the student in the Sviridovs' house? What other secrets will she get to know? And what does her mother have to do with it?
