On his account there are many saved lives and happy lives of patients who remain grateful to him until the end of their lives.

They love, honor and respect a master of their craft who is ready to completely surrender
their activities without asking for anything in return. Despite the presence of excellent professional skills, the character of the hero is rather nasty and heavy. It is difficult for him to find mutual interests with colleagues outside his career and achieve
a favorable relationship with the opposite sex.

He is harsh in communication, slightly arrogant and impolite, which causes a number of difficulties in his personal life. One day, he is faced with the fact that he discovers in himself an unusual and sudden phobia - a fear of the sight of blood. This discovery stuns the hero and introduces him to deep misunderstanding. All his life he worked as a doctor and never once noticed the manifestation of such fear.

But, these emotions start to turn into panic. The hero understands that he needs to quickly resolve a critical situation. Reluctantly, he takes a vacation in the St. Petersburg hospital and goes to his hometown - the village of Yuzhny. Martov did not visit the settlement for many years and did not see his family. There he decides to think about his future life and rethink important things.
