The wife took care of the house, creating comfort and order, and provided her beloved with a delicious and well-fed dinner every day. But the happiness did not last long. The real shock for a woman is the news of treason.
On the way home, her husband gets into a terrible car accident and dies on the spot. Veronica, despite the betrayal, cannot imagine her existence without her beloved. The second shock was the truth about the spouse's real activity: he was mired in debt, having paid off which, the widow was left without property. Well, the control in the head was the appearance of a small child brought by his mistress. She did not need a boy without a father.
Desperate Nika keeps a child for herself, because he was a part of the deceased. Trying to untangle such a dashingly tangled tangle of events, the widow learns that all the difficulties in her life are just a well-thought-out invention. Now she has to find out who is behind all this. Will the newly-made mother be able to reveal the identity of the culprit and punish him? Will Nika find peace of mind and true happiness?
